Remembering Donna Harper

My Mom passed away two years ago this month.  I can't believe it's already been two years. Thought I would share some great pictures I have of her (and yes that IS Mother Teresa, my Mom was THAT cool!)  Her world revolved around me and making my life as great as possible... that seems to be our priority as parents.  Ava was like a ray of sunshine at the end of her life... for her and for the rest of my family (especially me).  When photography as a career wasn't a thought in my mind she told me she thought I'd end up being a children's photographer (because I took thousands of pictures of Ava monthly!)... I guess Mom's know more than we give them credit for.  Love you Mom.

Here's a link to a press release sent from Spaulding Youth Center about our donation.  I'd like to clarify that our party guests DID bring an abundance of presents for Ava that we were very thankful for.  Additional pictures can be seen two blog entries before this one... under The Snow Family.  Thanks to everyone who donated!

Meet Elmo and Diego

We have two new family members... kittens!  Ava named the gray one Elmo and the black one Diego.  We got them from the Animal Rescue League of NH in Manchester.  The shelters have lots of kittens and cats right now so if you're looking for an addition to your family you should check them out, including the Manchester Animal Shelter.
Elmo and Diego are brothers from the same litter.  They are both VERY cuddley and playful.  They like to be held and love Ava even though she chases them everywhere.  Diego is the more aggressive of the two and he likes to rub his nose into mine.  Elmo is very silly and likes to wash his paws in his water bowl.  It's great having some new little friends in our home!
